New sliding/rising cross conveyor "TwinLift"

The new sliding/rising cross conveyor "TwinLift" is suitable for narrow passages and high troughs and provides complete flexibility. At Agritechnica 2009 in Hannover, Siloking presents the new cross conveyor "TwinLift" which slides horizontally from side to side and also has automatic adjustment of the discharge height to both sides.

The new conveyer is controlled by hydraulics and has the advantage of discharging on either side of the machine in normal or high position. By simply switching a lever on the conveyor, the user can decide if he is to discharge onto the floor or into a trough – this offers a more flexible discharge solution compared to normal folding conveyor belt combinations.

“TwinLift” in the central starting position is no wider than the machine – this makes it ideal for barns with narrow passages, but if necessary it can be pushed out 40cm to either side to reach the desired discharge point or to allow the feeding of large amounts of material, without the risk of the wheels running over it.

When elevated to the highest position on either side, the ends of the conveyor increase the discharge height by 50cm to provide a discharge height of approx. 1.20m, thus removing the need for additional folding conveyors.

The belt is driven by two hydraulic motors, which ensures that whether it runs to the left or to the right, the belt is always pulled, rather than pushed. The specially designed drive and support rollers ensure that the belt always discharges the feed smoothly, whether the discharge is directly onto the floor or into troughs. The guarding of the machine is specially designed to provide an excellent view of the discharge door and the points of discharge from the tractor seat to give the operator complete control of the feeding process.

The new “TwinLift” conveyor is now available for models Compact 8m³-14m³ and DUO 14Tm³-45m³.
